Maria loves identifying the important factors that make your garden or landscape truly unique, creating a design solution that brings out the best in your property. She is personally involved with each client, and with the crew on all installations. She balances an artistic eye with a practical design approach, allowing for the ultimate enjoyment of your landscape, while minimizing your maintenance concerns. Each design is distinct, innovative and custom made.
Maria is a passionate garden photographer who spends her free time studying decorative arts and participating in horticultural lectures, research and reading. She enjoys traveling and is a frequent visitor to gardens, botanical gardens and arboretums across the United States, and world-wide.
Maria has over 20 years of gardening and landscaping experience. She is the founder, member and immediate past President of the Pennsylvania/Delaware Chapter of the Association for Professional Landscape Designers, and a member of the Perennial Plant Association and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.
Maria has lectured to local garden clubs and at the Morris Arboretum. She has volunteered for the Wyndmoor Civic Association, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and Chestnut Hill Community Association. Maria’s personal garden has been featured nationwide in This Old House Magazine, as well as in local newspapers and on garden tours.
Maria received Associates of Science degree in Horticulture and Design from Temple University and in Bachelors of Science in Business Marketing from Drexel University. She regularly attends horticultural seminars, design and garden lectures.
